......At least in this family it does. If you don't like swimming in the river you better find a new family!! Just kidding!! We woke up Saturday to a beautiful day. The sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky...which is very rare around here!! We packed up the ice chest with what we call "the river food." It always consists of a loaf of bread, Peanut butter, Jelly, some Juice, chips, and some cookies Grandma seems to always have in the back of the freezer saved just for this occasion. Once the car was packed we headed up to our very favorite swimming hole. Michelle and Jeff were visiting from Klamath Falls this weekend with thier new puppy Little Miss Bossy Pants.....no really that's her whole name!! It was fun to be able to take Michelle and Jeff and Bossy to the river. Adam and Toni and the kids also decided to join us for our fun filled family day!! We were a little worried as we piled in the car and saw that the temperature reading was only 60 degrees. Grandma always says it's at least 10 degrees warmer up there....so we took our chances. When we got there we were pleased to find that the temperature gauge had risen to a wonderfully warm 76 degrees. WOOHOO!!! We packed our stuff precariously down the river bank and the kids couldn't wait to jump in. The water was FREEZING, but that didn't stop Grandma and the kids. Adam and Toni even got in. I could only make it in up to my hips and then my feet starting going numb and I decided to watch the fun from the shore. We all had such a great time splashing, eating, and enjoying each other's company and before we knew it we had been there almost 4 hours. We decided to call it a day and reluctantly headed for home....completly fulfilled and planning the next trip.
